Performing Capital declined 8.6% for the second quarter, bringing its year-to-date return to -7.8% net. The S&P 500 Total Return Index rose 8.3% for the second quarter and is up 15.9% year to date, while the Russell 2000 Total Return Index gained 5.2% for the quarter and is up 8.1% for the first half.

Based only on price, the Russell 2000 gained 4.8% in the second quarter for a year-to-date return of 7.2%, while the HFRI Equity Hedge Index returned 3% for the quarter and 5.6% for the first half.
