Like so many well-known names from the investment industry, Dane Andreeff is also very active in the philanthropy sector. For those who don’t know Andreeff he is one of the Tiger Cubs that worked with Julian Robertson. Currently, he is the general partner and portfolio manager of Maple Leaf Partners, and he founded Andreeff Equity Advisors.
In 2009 he started Andreeff Foundation and in the latest 990 form filed in November 2023 total revenue of the foundation was at $1.56 million. They reported expenses of $29 thousand, net income of a negative $1.59 million, and book value net assets of $247 thousand.
