You may know John Griffin from his previous endeavors including the inception and successful operations of the Blue Ridge Capital fund. John Griffin is also a “Tiger cub” , a protegee of Julian Robertson. 

Before founding his fund, it is believed that Griffin was a right-hand man to Robertson at Tiger Management. His strategy in Blue Ridge Capital was based on fundamental analysis with a focus on companies with competitive advantages. In 2017 he decided to shut the fund down.
