The holy grail of investing is finding stocks that have the potential to be multi-baggers.

Defined as 'stocks that give returns that are several times their costs' multi-baggers can make your investment career.

However, finding these stocks is not an easy process. Nor is there a clear-cut set of rules for finding these equities at the early stages.

That's not to say that there are no standard qualities that link these investment home runs. Kevin Martelli, a value investor, based in Switzerland, has conducted a study of “multi-bagger” stocks, which he defines as those that have risen in value by more than ten times over the past 15 years.
