Columbia Business School is considered to be the birthplace of value investing as it’s where Benjamin Graham, the godfather of value investing, first compiled the strategy he later taught to students. It’s no surprise then that great things are expected of Columbia Business School alumni. Adam Wyden of ADW Capital hasn’t disappointed. After starting ADW at the beginning of 2011 -- six months after finishing at Columbia Business School -- his fund has achieved a net annualized return of 28.2% compared to 13% for the S&P 500, even without including the first Q.
