Half Moon Capital Partners, the value-oriented partnership managed by Eric DeLamarter, returned 10.3% net for its investors during 2016. The partnership returned 4.1% net of fees in the fourth quarter according to the firm’s letter a copy of which has been reviewed by ValueWalk.

These returns were achieved while maintaining an average 26% net exposure throughout 2016. Since inception (7/1/2011) the fund is returned 68.1% with an annualized net return of 9.9%, standard deviation of 7.6%, Sharp ratio of 1.28 and a maximum drawdown of 6%. For some comparison, over the same period, the Russell 2000 returned a cumulative 77.3% with a standard deviation of 16.7%, maximum drawdown of 21.9% and a Sharp ratio of 0.66.
