Moody’s: E&P Earnings Will Grow 30% In 2017 – ValueWalk

The oil and gas industry is not out of the woods just yet, but conditions have troughed and are now recovering that’s the takeaway from a new report from credit ratings agency Moody’s on the oil industry published last week.

Moody’s notes that the oil and gas industry is undergoing a steady recovery from its early 2016 collapse. Some sectors of the industry are set to benefit more than most heading into 2017 as the recovery continues, oil prices rise steadily, and managers look to capitalize on renewed investor interest.
