As a longtime value investor, Warren Buffett doesn't usually spend a lot of time talking about growth stocks, and he has never claimed to be an expert on technology. However, at Berkshire Hathaway's annual meeting this past weekend, he dubbed scams driven by artificial intelligence as "the growth industry of all time."
Of course, that wasn't the only remark Buffett made about AI, as the topic was broached repeatedly by attendees asking questions at the general meeting. In short, it seems the overarching theme of his commentary on AI is that it scares him in multiple ways.
