Like many well-known hedge fund managers, David Tepper of Appaloosa Management donates to charity through his own foundation.

According to its Form 990 for 2021, filed in October 2022, the David Tepper Charitable Foundation had over $1 billion worth of assets. The foundation didn't list any contributors as giving at least $5,000 or 2% of its total donations. It looks like most of its income for 2021 came from its investments.
