These Are Seth Klarman’s Favorite Hedge Funds and PE/VC Funds [EXCLUSIVE]

Many of the wealthiest and most well-known hedge fund managers donate to charity from their billions, and Baupost chief Seth Klarman is among them. In fact, he was the only donor to give over $5,000 in 2021, personally donating $25 million to The Klarman Family Foundation that year, according to the organization's 990-PF filing for that year.

At the end of 2021, the foundation had almost $1.2 billion in assets, including cash, hedge fund investments, and other holdings. Here are the hedge funds listed on The Klarman Family Foundation's 990 from 2021.

Although the foundation invests in a very long list of funds, the fact that Klarman would trust his foundation's money to these managers suggests they could be among those he trusts the most, given that he's also listed as a trustee for the foundation.
