Many hedge fund managers donate millions of dollars to charity every year, and some do so through their own foundations. David Abrams of Abrams Capital, an opportunistic, fundamental fund with a value-oriented approach, is among those with his own foundation.

According to its Form 990 for 2021, the Abrams Foundation of Boston, Massachusetts had over $132 million in assets at the end of the year. David C. and Amy Abrams contributed $13 million to the foundation in 2021.
