Scott Barbee has been a portfolio manager at Aegis Value Fund since its inception in 1998. He also holds the controlling share in the Aegis Financial Corporation. Before that he was an analyst at Simmons & Company, and later as a generalist with a deep value advisor with Donald Smith & Company.
