Odey Asset Management Winds Down Operations as FCA Wraps Up Probe of Firm with No Action

Odey Asset Management (OAM) is working on the final steps to wind down operations after U.K. regulators wrapped up their investigation. In a recent letter, the firm told investors that it has applied for the cancellation of its permissions as it is no longer managing any clients.

OAM also provided an update on the investigation into the firm following a series of sexual misconduct allegations raised by women against founder Crispin Odey.

Odey Asset Management reported that the U.K. Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has completed its investigation and "will not be taking any action." The firm shut down earlier this year following the allegations against its founder.
