According to Cooley LLP's Q1 2020 Venture Financing Report, venture financing activity remained relatively robust during the first four months of 2020.

However, during April, when the pandemic really started to bite, the percentage of down rounds increased to 16% of transactions. This is the highest level of down rounds handled by the firm since the fourth quarter of 2016.
