A Utah elementary school teacher accidentally shot herself in a grade school with a concealed firearm early Thursday, and the incident did not apparently violate any laws.

The woman was in the teacher restrooms at Westbrook Elementary School in the Salt Lake City suburbs before classes started when she shot herself in the leg. The Granite School District mandates teachers who carry firearms inside the school to keep the guns with them at all times, including inside a bathroom stall, where this incident occurred.
