Twitter's Tweets To Appear On Google Search Again

Twitter announced it is allowing Google access to its real-time data stream of tweets, as the on-again-off-again relationship is now on… again.  A Google search that brings up a tweet will take the user directly to the Twitter page from where it originated. The changes will take place Tuesday. Twitter already has a similar arrangement with Yahoo and Microsoft.

Technology blogger Zach Miners of ITWorld.com notes the deal will widely distribute Twitter content beyond its own site, but it also helps Google by adding a real-time element to Google search results.
