Turkey Bounced Back In November, Boosting Sturgeon Capital

It’s been a tough year for emerging markets, making it difficult for EM-focused hedge funds to post positive returns, but November brought slightly better results. Sturgeon Capital, a long-biased equity fund with a focus in the Silk Road region, was in the green for November, although the return wasn’t anywhere nearly enough to bring the fund into green for the year.

In their November letter, which was obtained by ValueWalk, the Sturgeon team reported a gain of 0.23% for November, a promising sign after October’s 5.29% decline....
