Quants Prominent on 2017 Hedge Fund Rich List

There are some striking trends in the Institutional Investor’s Alpha magazine “Rich List,” a ranking of the top hedge fund managers based on the individual manager’s earnings. Not only is their total earnings down to an 11-year low, but the same type of strategies have continued to populate the top ten. The top hedge fund earners list comes out as hedge funds are off to a relatively positive start in 2017.
