Steve Kuhn Announces Retirement, But Believes The Market is Ripe

Pine River Capital Management's Steve Kuhn announced his retirement today. The hedge fund manager earned a big name in 2012-2013 with major gains from rightly timed bets on mortgage-backed securities. Kuhn has not been at Pine River for a very long time, as he managed funds at Pine River for just eight years. Pine River Capital manages $14 billion after losses of 5% last year (and this year).
