Republicans took to the floor of the U.S. Senate today in an effort to rebuff efforts by the U.S. Federal Communications Commission to pass net neutrality rules.

If its not broken, don’t fix it, was the approach taken by Senator Orrin Hatch (R-UT). “So what’s the problem? What is broken? What is it that needs to be fixed? Without government regulation the Internet is growing.” Hatch claimed the FCC taking “control” of the Internet.
