Jason Meklinsky, head of Americas Business Development at Apex Group, told ValueWalk in an interview that they are seeing a shift from hedge funds toward private equity. Apex Group is a global financial services provider to over $2.2 trillion in assets. He also noted an increase in hedge fund managers launching hybrid funds with hedge and PE-like segments.
