Odey’s Special Situations Fund Slumps -9% In October, Still Outperforming For The Year [Exclusive]

The Odey Special Situations Fund lost -9% in the month of October, according to its monthly investor update that ValueWalk has been able to review.

Following this performance, the fund is off -12.1% year-to-date.

“Frustrating” Losses but Still Outperforming

Writing in the monthly update, the fund’s portfolio manager, Adrian Courtenay, says its losses were “frustrating.”

However, even after this performance, it is still ahead of its benchmark, the MSCI World USD Index, for the year. For the year to the end of October, the benchmark fell -19.7%.
