New York Post, UPI Hack Causes Little Stock Market Damage

The New York Post and United Press International Twitter accounts were hacked and were sending out bogus and somewhat frightening messages today.

The New York Post Twitter account reported that a Chinese ship was firing missiles at a U.S. Navy ship, saying “#BREAKING: Chinese anti-ship missile fired at USS George Washington.”

The UPI hack said: “Pope: ‘World War III has begun.’”

While some were tricked, we were not..
