Fintav, which in January sued Apple Inc over a patent tied to digital payments, has a previous life that is likely familiar to ValueWalk readers. Mozido an Austin, Texas-based fintech start up, was accused of fraud on June 28, 2016 as reported by ValueWalk. Three years later those accusations transformed into Federal wire fraud charges against Michael Liberty, Mozido’s founder.
