The financial crisis will forever be remembered greatest market crisis’ and economic disruptions of all time.

All investors, no matter what their experience, industry or firepower were tested during 2008 and 2009. Even today, nearly ten years on those managers who managed to escape the year unscathed, or emerged with positive returns are held in high esteem.

The crisis also provided a case study for investors about the risks and opportunities that lie ahead. Indeed, by analyzing the mistakes made in the run-up to and during the crisis, many investors, analysts and policy makers have adjusted their models to ensure the same issues don’t destabilize the global economy again.
