Bank of England executive Michael Hume thinks he can assist in uncovering compelling opportunities for New York based hedge fund MKP Capital. The U.K. central banker most specifically believes he can find value amidst a quantitatively fertilized European landscape, which might make some sense. With European central bankers having such significant say in European Union political activities – as Greece debt negotiations demonstrated – in the face of such significant influence it might be a good investment to have an ear to the ground in the region, or at least someone with a template from which to understand how decisions are made.
