According to a recent Credit Suisse survey, investors are more interested in hedge funds than any other major asset class going into the second half of the year.

This is a big switch from investor sentiment in the first half of 2020. Indeed, hedge fund launches slowed to a near-record low in the first quarter of this year, according to hedge fund research group Hedge Fund Research.

Only 84 funds launched in the first quarter of 2020 according to HFR, that's compared to an estimated 304 liquidations in the quarter.
