It has been two weeks since the last time we covered the HSBC's hedge fund performance data. Since that report, Equitile Resilience Fund managed to remain a frontrunner, pushing from 10% to almost 16% YTD gains. CFM Istrends is the sole newcomer, currently standing at 6.84%.

The biggest underperformers, are two funds from Renaissance which sit at the bottom of the list.

1. Equitile Resilience Fund with 15.71% YTD Returns

Consistently one of the best performers in the 2025 Equitile Resilience Fund, is there again on top. It is an equity long/short fund with a portfolio of about 30 holdings, while the performance is not tracked by a specific benchmark. The strategy aims to beat the inflation by a significant margin, targeting figures of 9% and more of annualized gain. Since the last report two weeks ago, performance has risen from 10.03% to 15.71%.
