The University of California Board of Regents has  approved an overhaul of its investment strategy, solidifying a five-year process to eliminate hedge fund exposure across its major financial pools. The changes, presented by Jagdeep Singh Bachher, the university’s Chief Investment Officer, aim to simplify the portfolio, reduce fees, and enhance transparency, effective July 1st.
