The Trump administration has many avenues to leave a long-lasting stamp of the US and the world. This includes determining the direction of the Supreme Court beyond their term in office as well as through appointments to the Federal Reserve. Goldman Sach’s Alec Phillips, in a June 7 report, looks at the various probability paths for key Fed nominees, including the Chair and a key regulatory position. Phillips, reading the tea leaves, maps out probability paths that include current Fed Chair Janet Yellen, whose term as Chair ends January 31, 2018 but her governorship does not expire until 2024.
