BNP Paribas is pleased to announce the appointment of Eric Nelson as Head of U.S. Hedge Fund and Asset Manager (HFAM) Sales for the Americas.
In his new role as Head of HFAM Sales for the Americas, Eric will build upon the strong foundation across BNP Paribas’ Equity Derivatives business. Under Eric’s leadership, he will strengthen client relationships and market the expertise of the business. Eric is based in New York City and reports to Nathalie Texier-Guillot, Co-head of Equity Sales, Americas and Head of Equity Derivatives Sales, Americas.
Eric joins BNP Paribas after 14 years at JP Morgan, where he most recently served as Co-Head of Equity Derivatives Flow. Prior to that, he spent a decade as an equity derivatives trader. Eric played a pivotal role in rebuilding and rebranding JP Morgan’s equity derivatives franchise, helping elevate it to a top-tier global counterparty. He brings with him a strong track record of cultivating and maintaining relationships with many of the largest and most sophisticated U.S. hedge funds and asset managers.
