Record $30.6 Billion Flowed Into U.S. Equity ETFs As Great Rotation Hit Highs

The Great Rotation has hit highs in the first week since the U.S. election. Investors bought a record $30.6 billion worth of American equity ETFs in the week ended Nov. 16, while bond ETFs witnessed their largest outflow of $6.3 billion, according to JP Morgan. The equity inflows are equivalent to 2.2% of assets under management, while the bond outflows – the highest ever in a week – amounted to 1.3% of AUM.

“ETF flows of the past week saw a spectacular flight towards U.S. equities and away from everything else,” JP Morgan’s global asset allocation team led by Nikolaos Panigirtzoglou said in a report Nov 18.
