Crypto Hedge Funds Surge As Big And Macro Funds Struggle

According to research from HSBC's Alternative Investment Group, the wide dispersion in hedge fund returns seen during the first half of 2020 has continued into the second half of the year.

The best performing hedge fund is Saba Capital, with a total return of 82% for the year till the end of October. Meanwhile, with a loss of -58% for the year to the end of October, the worst-performing fund was Alken Capital.

According to the investment bank's research, the second-best performing hedge fund for the year to the end of October was Inflection Point Investments, with a return of around 55%.
