Consumer Spending – The consumer remains an area of strength for the US economy according to Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s research.
According to a research document from the bank, which uses data from Bank of America’s credit and debit card divisions, retail sales ex-autos increased 0.4% month-on-month seasonally adjusted in September.
