Brexit Will Force The Fed To Act

In the run-up to the UK’s referendum on EU membership, Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen warned that the vote could “negatively affect financial conditions and the US economic outlook.”

The vote only took place two days ago, but it’s pretty clear that this forecast was spot on, and now Fed watchers are asking how this outcome will affect the central bank’s near-term policy.
