Large Cap bank researchers at Credit Suisse are not walking back their previous estimates of bank profitability in a research note today, but rather just more clearly focusing on the risks to assumptions.

In the firm's initial large cap bank report dated January 7, Credit Suisse gave the entire large cap sector a positive Market Weight rating while many of the large cap banks, JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs, Bank of America and Wells Fargo, an Outperform ranking. This report was followed with an update yesterday.
