An Ohio man has been arrested after stalking former coal company executive Bennett Hatfield while he visited his wife’s grave site.

Bennett Hatfield - Former CEO of Patriot Coal shot dead while mourning wife

Bennett Hatfield, 59, who resigned as CEO of Patriot Coal in 2015 one month before the firm declared bankruptcy, was CEO of International Coal Group in 2006 when an explosion at the Sago Mine in northern West Virginia killed 12 miners. He was shot dead at Monday while at Mountain View Memory Gardens, a cemetery in southern West Virginia where is wife who died of cancer is buried.
