Aswath Damodaran has a message to equity market naysayers who think the stock market, riding a decade long bull, is a bubble about to pop. The oft-quoted author of four books and professor of finance at New York University’s Stern School of Business on Tuesday called arguments surrounding market bubbles “incredibly shallow.”

And he was just getting started. He took shots at some in the elite economic establishment, including calling out former Federal Reserve Chair Alan Greenspan as well as dismissing the entire profession of macroeconomics.
