Bring on the Carl Icahn / William Ackman spread trade.

Trading in shares of PSH, Pershing Square Holdings, was rung in by the fund’s founder, William Ackman, on Euronext’s Amsterdam market today launching at a share price of $25.

Ackman a major part of the mainstream market

In listing on the Amsterdam exchange, making it close to the 25th largest company traded on the exchange, Ackman said in a Bloomberg interview this makes him a major part of the mainstream of the market, as opposed to London, where he would be relegated to the specialist funds market.
