Everyone wants to be rich and successful, but the fact of the matter is very few people can be rich and successful. The best investors, like the best movie stars, authors, and politicians, are the 1% of the 1%. The other 99.99% of the world has to be content with being average.

After all, if everyone were rich, the average would be skewed to the high end, and being rich would no longer put you above average.

As Charlie Munger once put it, the iron rule in life is the fact only 20% of the world's population can...
