Over the years, more and more hedge fund managers have added private-equity positions to their portfolios, and Lee Ainslie’s Maverick Capital is no different. Before discussing the fund’s PE holdings, let’s take a look at its top publicly traded equities. During the third quarter, the top 10 long positions in Maverick’s public equities portfolio were: Amazon, Centene, Coupang, HDFC Bank, Merck KGAA, Meta Platforms, NVIDIA, Philip Morris, Uber Technologies and Visa.
