Volatile Commodity Prices Have Generated Choppy Returns For Statar Capital In 2022 [Exclusive[

Statar Capital was up 12.18% net for September, ending a challenging third quarter on a high note after returns of -9.92% for July and -12.49% for August. Year to date, the fund is up 9.4%. The fund had $2.9 billion in assets under management at the end of September.

In their September letter to investors, which was obtained by ValueWalk, the Statar Capital team described September as "moderate… by recent standards" in North America. The West Coast saw high temperatures in the first half of the month, but otherwise they were "unremarkable."
