Verrazzano Finds European Investing Challanging

After posting a slight loss in September, the Verrazzano's European Focus Fund ended the month holding on to a 5.18 year to date gain.  The European Opportunities Fund, with a more neutral long / short ratio, was up slightly in September and hangs on to a 1.38 percent year to date gain, according to a letter to investors reviewed by ValueWalk.
