This Top Value Fund Thinks There Might Not Be Much Economic Fat Left To Trim [Exclusive]

The Voss Value Fund was up 17.2% net for the fourth quarter, while the Voss Value Offshore Fund gained 16.9% net, capping the two funds' full-year returns at 1.1% and 0.2% net, respectively. Meanwhile, the Russell 2000 returned 6.2% for the fourth quarter and -20.4% for the full year, while the Russell 2000 Value Index returned 8.4% for the quarter and -14.5% for the year. The S&P 500 gained 7.6% for the fourth quarter but lost 18.1% for all of 2022.
