Rhizome Partners, the value partnership that targets small and micro-cap companies, produced a return of 2.8% net for investors during the second quarter of 2017 following a gain of 1.4% during Q1. Since inception (April 10, 2013), the firm has produced an annualized net return for investors of 11.1% and a cumulative return of 56% compared to the S&P 500's annual and cumulative return of 12.9% and 66.8%.

The firm's second-quarter letter to investors contains updates on some investments, the most interesting of which are FRPH Holdings and Macy's.
