Performing Capital returned - 6.8% in the second quarter of 2022, bringing its performance for the first half of the year to -4.3%, according to a copy of its second quarter investor update, which ValueWalk has been able to review.

Performing specializes in identifying under-the-radar and/or misunderstood securities, predominantly small-cap stocks (around 44% of the portfolio on the long side is invested in companies with a market capitalization of less than $500 million). Alongside a concentrated portfolio of its best long ideas, the fund also shorts companies that it believes will disappoint Wall Street.
