The North Rock Fund was up 7% for December, bringing its full-year performance to about 22.3% for 2020. Kelly Perkins of North Rock said that was a record return for the fund, especially the last two months of the year.

He also reported that the fund's Sharpe ratio was 4.85 in 2020, while its gross exposure has been moving higher and now sits above 350% as of Jan. 15. Perkins expects the fund's gross exposure to range from 300% to 450% with a volatility target of 6% to 7%.
