Half Moon Capital Partners was up 7.1% net for the third quarter, compared to the S&P 500's 1.7% gain, the Russell 2000's 2.3% decline, and the HFR Hedge Fund Index's 1.3% decline. The fund's longs generated an 11.9% gross return, while its shorts were down 0.7% gross.
