Giano Capital Limited, the long-short equity hedge fund managed by Michele Ragazzi, a former employee of Odey Asset Management, has returned -0.2% for the year to the end of February.

According to a copy of the fund manager's report, which ValueWalk has been able to review, Giano Capital has returned 8.7% since its inception at the beginning of 1996. In comparison to Odey's flagship European fund, this performance is impressive as Giano has outperformed its benchmark, the MSCI Daily TR Net Europe, by 1.6% per annum since inception.
