DG Capital Gains 10% On Profits From Distressed Debt

DG Capital's flagship value fund added 3.9% in the second quarter and 10.03% in the first half of 2023, according to a copy of the firm's latest investor update, which ValueWalk has been able to review.

DG is a value-focused fund that invests across the capital structure. The firm has around half a billion dollars under management, with the bulk of assets invested in its flagship fund.

Alongside the flagship fund, DG runs a smaller, concentrated strategy. This strategy targets 20% annualized returns from a focused portfolio of equities and debt. The concentrated strategy added 19.2% for the six months to the end of June.
